Steps to Make an Essay

1.      Determine the theme of the essay

The theme is the main idea of the article. The theme that is determined before writing the essay should be a focused or narrow theme not too long-winded which can confuse the reader. A good theme can be seen from the ability of the author to put a position as a pro, con, or neutral in viewing the main idea of an essay.

2.      Make an outline

After determining the next theme is to create an outline, the outline here helps the author arrange what information will be conveyed in the written essay so that it becomes coherent and the order is clear.

3.      Collecting materials or gathering information

Collecting material/information here is useful for outlining the outline or outline of the ideas that have been made. The material sought is material that is relevant and reinforces the main idea of the essay.

4.      Describing the contents

After collecting the material, the next step is to describe the contents of the outline created. When outlining the body, make sure each paragraph has a main topic.

5.      Writing the introduction

After outlining the contents, proceed with writing the introduction. An introduction is useful as an introduction for readers to understand the contents of the essay.

6.      Write a conclusion

The final part of writing an essay is writing a conclusion. The thing that is considered in writing an essay is not to re-elaborate the descriptions that have been made in the previous section and not to include new things that require further explanation.

7.      Reread

After finishing writing the essay, the last step is to reread it to make sure there are no mistakes in writing.
